Age-friendly Peterborough

This committee was formed in 2013 to develop and Age-friendly Plan for the City of Peterborough, County of Peterborough, Curve Lake First Nation and Hiawatha First Nation (Peterborough Region).  The Age-friendly Plan will identify strengths and areas of improvement that relate to the quality of life in the Peterborough Region as we age.  The Committee meets on a monthly basis at Community Care Peterborough to work on this project.

The committee is using guidelines created by the World Health Organization (WHO) to develop our Age-friendly Plan.  The Peterborough Region has applied to the WHO to become members of their Global Network of Age-friendly Cities and Communities.
