Peterborough Council on Aging

The Peterborough Council on Aging is a community base collaborative organization working to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of older adults in the Peterborough region.  Peterborough has the distinction of having the highest proportion of people over the age of 65 in Canada at around 20%.  The PCOA celebrates this fact.

The PCOA is in the final stages of developing an Age-friendly Plan for the City of Peterborough, County of Peterborough, Hiawatha First Nation and Curve Lake First Nation.  When completed in early 2017, the Age-friendly Plan will be our guide for improving the community as we age.
